电子商务英语课程考试论文学号090909001姓名别晓飞系别计算机与信息工程学院年级2009级专业信息管理与信息系统(电子商务)E-commerceDevelopmentElectronicCommerceisexactlyanalogoustoamarketplaceontheInternet.ElectronicofproductsorservicesoverelectronicsystemssuchastheInternetandothercomputernetworks.Theinformationtechnologyindustrymightseeitasanelectronicbusinessapplicationaimedatcommercialtransactions;inthiscontext,itcaninvolveelectronicfundstransfer,supplychainmanagement,e-marketing,onlinemarketing,onlinetransactionprocessing,electronicdatainterchange(EDI),automatedinventorymanagementsystems,andautomateddatacollectionsystems.ElectroniccommercetypicallyuseselectroniccommunicationstechnologyoftheWorldWideWeb,atsomepointinthetransaction'slifecycle,althoughofcourseelectroniccommercefrequentlydependsoncomputertechnologiesotherthantheWorldWideWeb,suchasdatabases,ande-mail,andonothernon-computertechnologies,suchastransportationforphysicalgoodssoldviae-commerce.Sincetheninety’s,theelectroniccommerceinthecontextoftheglobalriseandrapiddevelopment,quicklychangetheoriginaleconomicpattern,andtraditionaleconomicoperationandgrowthmode.Thedevelopmentofe-commercehasbecomeakeyeconomicdevelopmentevaluationofcomprehensivestrengthimportantindex.Therefore,understandingourcountryelectroniccommercedevelopmentpresentsituation,theobjectiveunderstandingtotheproblemsofChina'se-commercedevelopment,thecountermeasurestoachievethefast,healthyandstabledevelopment,hasbecomeaneweraoftheeconomicdevelopmentoftheconstructionofharmonioussocietyanurgentandimportanttasksCompanieshaveconductedonlinecommercialtransactiononalimitedscalesincetheearly1990s.Consunerbuyinghoweverhashadadifferenthistory.Nowadays,consumerscancountononehandtheyearsforwhichsignificantnumbersofconsumerhavebeenbuyingproductsonline.Almostdaily,internetdevelopersdesignnewtechnologiesthatbusinessoperationsandautomatethepurchasingprocess.Thegoalofallthisrapiddevelopmentistoattractmoreconsumersbymakinginternetbuyingandsellingproceduresasfast,convenient,andeasyaspossible.Inthefollowing,thekeydriverisofE-commercedevelopment:1.internetresourcesTheinternetconsistsofavastarrayofelectronicresourcesthatpeopleusetoaccessinformation,tocommunicatewitheachother,andtransmitdata.SometimespeopleusethewordsinternetandWordWideWebinterchangeablytorefertoalltheseelectronicresources.Internetdescribesentiresystemofnetworkcomputers;WordWideWebdescribesthemethodusedtoaccessinformationcontainoncomputersrelatedtotheinternet.Bythemid-1990s,companiesandindividualsbegantorecognizethepotentialoftheWebforreachingbothexitingandnewcustomers.Businessinparticularidentifiedthepotentialcostsavingtheycouldrealizebyusingtheinternethandlebusinesstransactions.Tostartwith,theinternetisprofoundlychangingconsumerbehavior.OneinfivecustomerswalkingintoaSearsdepartmentstoreinAmericatobuyanelectricalappliancewillhaveresearchedtheirpurchaseonline—andmostwillknowdowntoadimewhattheyintendtopay.Moresurprisingly,threeoutoffourAmericansstartshoppingfornewcarsonline,eventhoughmostendupbuyingthemfromtraditionaldealers.Thedifferenceisthatthesecustomerscometotheshowroomarmedwithinformationaboutthecarandthebestavailabledeals.Sometimestheyevenhavecomputerprint-outsidentifyingtheparticularvehiclefromthedealer’sstockthattheywanttobuy.2.intensecompetitionIntensecompetition,proliferationofproductsserviceandhighconsumerexpectationsinnearlybusinesshaveaddedunusualpressuretokeepclosewatchonoperationcostsandmaximizeprofitmargins.Inordertosurvive,companiesareconstantlylookingformoreeffectiveways.E-commerceaddressestheseconcernsquickly,efficiently,andatlowcost.3.GlobalizationTomaintaingrowthofprofit,manycompaniesaremovingtotheinternationalmarket.However,oneofthemajorobstaclesisthegeographicalbarrier.E-commerceprovidesaneffective“vehicle”forcompaniestomovetotheinternationalmarketbecausethereisalmostnogeographicalbarrierincyberspace.Inotherwords,itiseasierforaforeigncompanytocompetewithalocalcompanyunderthecyberenvironment.4.E-mailandFTPOthertermsassociatedwiththeInternetareE-mailandFileTransferProtocol.PeopleuseE-mailtosendmessagesfromonecomputertoanothercomputer.PeoplecanuseFTPtransferdocumentsandfilesfromonecomputertoanotherviatheInternet.TheWorldWideWeb,E-mail,andFTParealltoolsthatpeopleusetoaccessinformationfromtheInternet.5.AutomationAsthecostoflaborincrease,thereisastrongneedforcompaniestolookforalternativewaystodoroutinework.Thisisparticularlytrueinhandingthemyriadpapertransactiononceanorderistaken.Withelectronicmessagesonecanreducethisconsiderably;e-commercethusprovidesanattractivesolution.Nowadays,e-commerceinChina'sdevelopmenthasacertainscale,especiallysince2006yearsoftheelectroniccommerceinourcountryisdevelopingrapidly.E-commerceledthewholeeconomicdevelopmentinChina;theeconomicdevelopmentofourcountryhasenteredanewstage.But,asourcountry'sgeography,economicpolicy,theinfluenceoffactorssuchasthedevelopmentofregionaleconomy.E-commerceinpromotingthedevelopmentoftheeconomyasawholetoregionaleconomicdevelopmentalsobringsopportunitiesandchallenges.Intheunderdevelopedregions,andmakegooduseofit,isthebestop
